Standing on the shores watching the waves roll onto the turf, seconds ticking
at every break. Time draws short, half way through now,
just half to go. A half of a half
of a half to infinity.
Time tells truths about me but
more importantly it tells me about you. Seeing you here tonight,
seeing myself through someone else’s eyes, I see not one but two, me and you.
It’s all so clear now, yet it is all fading away. Time has come for
time to fade away, time to break
that wave back to reality,
back to the sense of the world,
back to being lost, to drifting, to searching for another moment
to see myself with you again all before it fades, fades away…
