The other day I had to work out of a coffee shop, as my Shaw Internet was on the fritz. At the shop this song came on by Lenka (I had to google the lyrics) called Trouble is a Friend. The song sounded really familiar, but I couldn’t quite place it. Then today I heard the song again, and it struck me, the main beat to the song is identical to Melissa McClelland’s Passenger 24. Is this a free beat on Pro Tools or did Lenka just blatantly rip off Melissa McClelland?
