Serious Talk of Coalition Between NDP and Liberals

The big issue being who would be leader in a coalition:

Also to note is that even with a coalition they would not have enough seats for a majority. I guess they are banking on winning the seats that they split votes on. Also as a follow up to this, the mini budget really looks as if the Conservatives want the opposition to overthrow the government. There is nothing about the economy, and full on attacks at the other political parties (removal of funding), and the working class (removal of right to strike by public sector). Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Convservatives Look to Destroy Opposition Rather than Deal with Economy

While on paper the Conservatives would lose the most amount of funding, that funding also represents the smallest percentage of their overall funding as a party, compared to the Liberals in which it is a majority of their funds.

Garth Turners take on things:

Now more than ever do we need the Canadian left to unit and throw out the conservatives before it is too late.
