mp3 Encoding in Sound Juicer in Ubuntu Heron 8.04
After searching a few forums found it was as easy as running:
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse
Then restart Sound Juicer and you should have an options in your preferences to encode as mp3.

Thanks, Stefan; that was just what I needed for my Sound Juicer to make mp3s of my CDs for my mp3 player!
